Tikka Masala
Boneless
pieces of chicken breast marinated in traditional marinade
of yogurt, herbs, and spices cooked in a moderately spiced
tomato puree and cream sauce. A touch of fenugreek leaves
commonly called "Methi" creates a very distinct flavor.
The
vibrant orange color of turmeric powder (known for it's healing
power) gives the dish a glorious appearance. It is normally
served with a rice pilaf.
