Matar
Paneer
Many
a meal is incomplete without the very popular Matar Paneer.
Home made cheese is cut into small pieces and deep fried to
a light brown color. The green peas are cooked in a light
curry sauce and cheese is added.
A
touch of cream is added to make the sauce as mild as desired.
It may be eaten with Chapati, Naan or Basmati rice. A garnish
of fresh cilantro is often used.
