SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT BUT SOMETIMES STILL THE SAME...THE SAME NAME THAT IS

 

Above:
The head has duck tape around it. Strange? I taped it off so I can degrease,
high pressure water hose, and then paint the engine black. The view is of the
flywheel being mounted onto the back of the engine. A new rear main seal has
been installed. (04/2006)

The clutch being installed and properly aligned. (04/2006)

Finally, the engine mounted to the transmission. Please note the black paint on
the block is a nice touch. (04/2006)

Another picture of the engine with the transmission mounted. Also, note that the
transmission was degreased and cleaned. The Valve cover will later on be sandblasted
and then polished. (04/2006)

A front shot of the engine with the toothed cam and sensor. This allows
the Microtech computer to properly guage the engine position. (04/2006)

A side view of the engine. Please note that the oil filter assembly will later
be replaced by one that has an external cooling line. (04/2006)
